Who can attend this course?
This course is designed for Year 10 students who want to get the most out of their Maths GCSE. It covers Higher Tier topics applicable to all exam boards that are typically covered in Year 10 at most schools. Some of these may be new to you, in which case you'll get a sneak preview of what's to come next year!
There is no application process and you can secure your place simply by clicking 'Register Now' and following the instructions. Places are filled on a first-come first-served basis and are limited in number.
The course is best-suited for students who are currently working at grade 5-7. For students working either below grade 5 or above grade 7 standard, you are still more than welcome to join. However, some of the work may be easy or hard for you depending on your individual situation.
Please note that the course is suitable for Higher Tier candidates only.
How much do the classes cost?
The classes are free! No charge, no hidden extras. All you need is a stable internet connection, a pad of paper and your Maths equipment.
Can I join after the start date?
Yes, if a space becomes available.
Do I have to attend all of the sessions?
No, but it should go without saying that 100% commitment is required in order to derive maximum benefit from the classes. As such, it is highly recommended that you do not miss a session.
Are the dates and times adjustable?
No, the dates and times are fixed. If Rumel is unable to tutor on any particular day then you will receive as much notice is possible.
How do I join the Livestream?
After you have registered, you'll receive a welcome email closer to the start date containing a Zoom link plus a password and full joining instructions. Please keep an eye on your junk email folder!
Will I be able to watch a replay of the lesson after it has ended?
Absolutely! All the lessons will be recorded. Within 24 hours of a lesson being live-streamed, a video file will be added to the course page ready for you to watch again.
